Our client is looking for candidates who possess the relevant experience of running a timber production line, have good reporting skills to document work activities throughout their shift as well as having solid numeracy skills and an aptitude for learning manufacturing processes. Being in this environment will mean you need to use your initiative and resolve problems as they arise. We require a person that understands health and safety is a priority to themselves and their colleagues.
Must hold a City and Guild Qualification in Wood Machinary.
You will be responsible for setting the machine to the correct profile and dimensions ensuring that every process meets the customer’s requirements
You will support a busy manufacturing function with the following:
To operate and follow instructions via the job card
Efficient and smooth operating whilst checking the dimensions and finishes
Complete all relevant paperwork associated with production orders
Contributing to the achievement of the departments KPI’s
Maintain general cleanliness within the yard and mill areas at all times
Great rates of pay – Earn up to £18.19 an hour. Plus a shift allowance if working nights

Day Shift between 7.15am and 4.00pm Monday to Thursday with an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes and 6.00am to 12.00pm on a Friday inclusive. Night Shift between 5.45pm and 2.00am Monday to Thursday and 12.00pm to 6pm on a Friday.
