The opportunity

Our client is now looking to further expand and strengthen their presence in the UK. You will have a high degree of autonomy over shaping and growing local teams, pursuing appropriate opportunities, improving processes, driving innovation and developing new initiatives. As a senior team member, you will play a wider role in mentoring and developing the ecology team across the division and provide direct support to the divisional directors. In addition, you will take ownership of some of their key client accounts/frameworks and contribute to and support the development of their other teams and service propositions in these region, including the growth of their Arboriculture team.

On a day-to-day basis you will act as project manager/director of major infrastructure and residential development projects (including HS2). Over time, as they invest in new services such as Environmental Net Gain and Natural Capital, there will be opportunities for you to develop /apply your skills in these areas and to work across different divisions and business units on a range of projects.

You will have proven experience as a senior director of ecology. You are likely to have extensive experience working in consultancy and be looking to join a large and successful SME where you can directly influence change, and control the direction and performance of the business, and share in its success.
