Our client is currently going through an extensive growth due to customer demand and are now looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join their friendly Commercial Team based in Melton, North Ferriby. You will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders and deliveries and provide support for sales after service.
The ideal candidate would have some Timber industry knowledge and have experience of customer service practices. It is essential that you have customer service experience and feel confident speaking to customers over the phone.
Ultimately, the ideal candidate should have high organisation skills and be competent in MS Office and be able to pro-actively contribute to our busy sales / after service / commercial department.
Responsibilities may include:
Managing accounts and stock systems
Chasing & prompting orders via email or phone
Processing orders
Check data accuracy in orders and invoices
Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
Maintain and update sales and customer records
Develop monthly sales reports
Communicate important feedback from customers internally
Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations
Requirements
Confident phone manner
Good computer skills to enable use of bespoke timber system and excel spreadsheets
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
A good memory
A team player with high level of dedication
Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
