​Our client has an excellent opportunity within their Carbon Team to join as Data Analyst to support Carbon Manager in gathering, analysing and managing carbon related data.

As Data Analyst you will undertake a variety of tasks, including compiling and analysing raw data in Excel and SQL database, developing clear visualisations using BI tool to convey complicated date in a straightforward fashion, providing insight and ideas into automation of processes related to data processing and undertaking predictive modelling, using programming software.

About You:

We’re looking for candidates who are highly motivated, driven, enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable. In addition to this, you’ll have:

  • Relevant academic degree in subjects such as Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Social Data Science, Finance or similar

  • 1-2 year’s practical experience in data analysing

  • Understanding of statistical data analysis and presentation methodologies and procedures

  • Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Office, SQL database

  • Practical knowledge of statistical; computer software such as R. Software or Python

  • Practical knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI

  • Problem solving abilities

  • Great attention to detail

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Driving licence

Occasional travel further afield will be required according to business needs.
